Anniversary ice cream
In collaboration with Otto & Glassfabriken, we have created an ice cream flavor, cloudberry, exclusively available at Grand Café – a sunny tribute to 150 years of innovation and artisanship.
Cloudberries, also known as "gold of the bogs," are a distinct Swedish flavor often associated with the Nordic regions. These rare berries, which grow in wetlands and bogs in northern Sweden, are a beloved delicacy with a unique combination of sweetness and tartness. With their short season, usually occurring in July and August, cloudberries are a sought-after ingredient used in a variety of traditional Swedish dishes. Their symbolic significance in Swedish culture and rich flavor make them an indispensable part of Swedish culinary tradition.
